Shipping Policy - The Basics
Effective as of 6th May,2025
This Shipping Policy governs the shipment of goods purchased through MELSINA’s website and other sales channels (collectively, the “Site”). By placing an order with MELSINA, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. SHIPPING FEES
1.1 Standard Shipping Fee
For all orders under ₹1,999, a shipping fee of ₹100 will be applied at the time of purchase.
1.2 Free Shipping
Orders exceeding ₹1,999 (excluding discounted items) will qualify for free shipping.
2. ORDER PROCESSING TIME
2.1 Order Processing
Orders will be processed within 2 to 3 business days from the time the order is placed, excluding weekends and public holidays.
2.2 Order Status and Notifications
Upon successful processing of your order, you will receive a confirmation email with the shipping details and tracking number (if applicable).
3. DELIVERY TIME
3.1 Estimated Delivery Time
The delivery time for all orders is estimated between 2 to 14 working days from the date of dispatch. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on the location of the customer and the logistics provider. While MELSINA makes every reasonable effort to meet the delivery estimates, these are not guaranteed and delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, such as public holidays, weather, or courier issues.
3.2 Delivery Area
MELSINA currently ships only within the geographic boundaries of India. Any orders placed from locations outside of India will be automatically rejected.
4. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS. You may track the status of your shipment via the provided tracking number on the courier service's website.
5. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
5.1 Restricted Delivery Locations
MELSINA reserves the right to refuse delivery to certain locations or areas due to logistical or operational limitations. If a delivery address is within a restricted location, the customer will be notified, and the order will not be processed.
5.2 Address Accuracy
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accurate and complete. MELSINA will not be held liable for shipping errors or delays caused by incorrect address details provided by the customer.
6. DUTIES AND TAXES
6.1 GST Inclusion
All applicable taxes, including GST, are included in the price of the products displayed on the Site. No additional customs duties or taxes will be charged for deliveries within India.
7. MISSING OR DAMAGED GOODS
7.1 Delivery Issues
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incomplete, you must notify MELSINA within 7 days of receiving the item. Any claims for missing or damaged items must be supported by photographic evidence.
7.2 Claims Process
In the event of damaged or missing products, you may contact MELSINA customer support at support@melsina.com or call us at +91-9650838563. MELSINA will provide a solution either through a replacement or a refund, based on the nature of the issue.
8. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND FAILURE
8.1 Missed Deliveries
If you are unavailable to accept the delivery, the courier will attempt re-delivery or leave a notice indicating an alternate delivery schedule. Should a package be returned to MELSINA due to multiple failed delivery attempts, the customer may be liable for any re-shipping charges.
8.2 Undeliverable Packages
In cases where a package cannot be delivered due to a customer’s failure to respond or provide accurate information, the item will be returned to MELSINA, and any applicable re-shipping fees may apply.
